Couples counseling has unique demands. My graduate school training included a full year of working only with couples with live supervision. This has given me a passion for helping couples solve their problems with intimacy and communication as well as navigate through crises such as infidelity.

With today’s technology, emotional affairs often occur via internet or phone texting and cause the same pain as a sexual affair. We work together to set goals, build trust and move through this crisis in a structured way, creating an improved and healthier relationship.

I also work with families in transition from divorce and remarriage to improve adjustment and communication and to co-parent more effectively in a blended family situation.
